We will be having a baby!
I hope it will be soon but it will be in God’s perfect time.
I had a chance today to become a ninong or godparent to the beautiful daughter of my cousin.
I attended the pre-baptism seminar with my wife and it was a joy to behold a room full of babies.
Their giggles and chuckles puts a smile in my face.
Having a baby is a joy in the family.
Today’s 3rd Sunday of Advent or Gaudete is Latin for “rejoice,” we await for the coming of Jesus this Christmas with tremendous joy.
The Lord commands in the reading today to “rejoice always and pray without ceasing.”
We should be in a constant state of rejoicing, giving thanks to God for all that He has done for us.
Here is my A Dose of Ramedy today:
Find joy in your life. Even if you are suffering with so many challenges, there is always joy.
The blessing of time with your family, friends and relative is a priceless joy.
Moments that you share with them good or not so good, we should always be grateful.
St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta brought untold blessings and joy to the poor who lay unattended and forgotten on our streets.
When asked the source of her joy, she replied: “Joy is prayer — joy is strength — joy is love — joy is a net of love. . . A joyful heart is the normal result of a heart burning with love . . . loving as He loves, helping as He helps, giving as He gives, serving as He serves, rescuing as He rescues, being with Him twenty-four hours, touching Him in His distressing disguise.” (Malcolm Muggeridge, Something Beautiful for God, Harper and Row, San Francisco: 1971)
Have a joyful day!
