Prayers

Were your prayers answered?

Yes.

No.

Perhaps.

Or God has a better plan.

Early this morning, I went to Baclaran church or the Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

A lady was pervent in prayer. From the entrance door of the church, she knelt faithfully moving towards the altar. One knee at a time, she gazed at the altar enflamed with zeal and ardor.

Focused.

I don’t know what she prayed for.

But.

I saw hope.

I saw faith.

I saw love.

I felt humbled.

It made me reflect on my prayer life, is it getting deeper?

Where am I now with my faith?

How is my relationship with God?

Am I asking too much?

Am I thanking Him enough?

Am I too pushy for things to happen fast or I just have to wait for more?

Silence.

I heard the chirping of the birds.

I felt embraced.

Your will Lord, not mine.

Baclaran

A reminder of God’s love. The Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Baclaran intecedes for us.

Here is my A Dose of Ramedy today:

Pray more. Talk to God more. Be still. He is in control. Yield. Surrender.

God loves you more than you’ll ever know!
